Membership Options, the complete answer. First things first…

We have a range of options for being part of our Tribe, but everyone starts the same way… with our Foundations Program. All are welcome, but with that comes a caveat. Unlike corporate gyms, we actually want you to show up and put in the work. But we have a certain way of doing things, and we’re guessing that’s why you’re here. Our little strength sanctuary is the only gym around that has grown from a philosophy, not just a program, and whether we’re your introduction to movement, or you’re here to take your elite athleticism even further, ‘twould behoove you to understand how we do things.

Now most gyms have ‘initiations,’ but for some reason this has come to mean a financial contribution rather than an actual educational rite of passage. We love free money as much as anyone, but since our purpose is to educate and offer a path to empowerment, not to empty your wallet while giving little in true guidance, we’d rather teach you something for your hard-earned ducats. How about a REAL initiation?

So your journey with Bodytribe begins with the Foundations Program, and there isn’t a single drop of Kool-Aid involved. Rather our philosophies and techniques are discussed and the hands-on instruction begins. We’re not just a space, we’re a dojo, a sacred place of movement and strength, and all who pass through our doors need a proper introduction to our Tao.

So whatever option you chose, you’ll begin with us welcoming you through our Foundations Program.  It is so much more than simply learning a few exercises, it’s learning to understand your relationship with yourself and your Tribe, and everyone, from beginner to competitor, will benefit from those lessons. The program is catered to each membership option, so please read the descriptions below.

Open Gym Membership: Come in and use our toys on your schedule. Not everyone likes classes or can make them fit into their day, so the Open Gym Membership allows you to do your thing when you want to do your thing. But during our Open Gym hours (11-7 weekdays), there is always a trainer on hand to answer questions or offer a bit of guidance, or maybe just a spot.

How it begins: That $100 start up fee is more than an ‘initiation’ fee. Here it means not just your first month’s dues but our Foundations Program. This includes 2 one-on-one sessions with a trainer, a copy of Lift With Your Head (our philosophy in published form) and two vouchers for our weekly workshops. Premier Membership: This gives you the open gym, plus access to our class schedule. If workouts with a supervised group seem more your style then this is an amazing opportunity to get coached, educated and seriously worked. We keep the classes small, never more than 8 people, and the program design is comprehensive with emphasis on truly addressing all aspects of fitness, including embodiment and empowerment, the components of holistic fitness that are ignored by almost all other systems out there.

How it begins: The Foundations Program for the Premiere Membership includes 2 one-on-one sessions with a trainer, followed by a month of our Foundations Classes, which are every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6pm. Of course our book, Lift With Your Head is included, as are 2 vouchers to our weekend workshops. Email Chip to set up an appointment to get started.

Personal Training: One-on-one or small group training is always another option. Much more individually specific, personal training is set up according to your schedule. Prices range according to trainer, so email Chip to find our options, and read about our trainers here.
